A Short Resume :

Highly interested in experiencing new cultures and business environments, my working history is characterized by living and working on 3 different continents and for very different kinds of companies.

Developing and implementing innovative, new value chain management concepts and technologies has been my specialization from early on. To build up a broad and holistic understanding of this topic, I worked as technology expert, supply chain manager, startegy consultant and program manager for massive off-shoring initiatives.

SAP AG, 05/2010 - present: Management of strategical and tactical Business Transformation Programs of SAP's global IT organization, incl. setup of multi-vendor startegies for external IT service providers, out-tasking, out-sourcing and off-shoring of IT services to best cost countries.
Camelot IDPro, 11/2008 - 04/2010: Camelot's Principal for Engineering and Manufacturing Industries; responsible for the continuous further development of Camelot's service offering portfolio; Business Development; Key Account Management; direct support of strategic customer projects.
Siemens AG , 03/2007 - 10/2008: Team leader SAP SCM; management of a team of process- and IT-specialists responsible for the maintenance of the existing global SAP-infrastructure for production, manufacturing, plant maintenance, quality assurance, production controlling and product costing; process- and system-optimization; implementation and global roll-out of new solutions; custom development; contracting of externals; setup of internal continuous improvement processes.

Languages and Intercultural Skills:
German: Native language.
English: Excellent spoken and written English. Several years of work experience in English-speaking environments. Facilitation of meetings, negotiations, authoring of reports. Lived and worked for 2 years in California, USA. Several long-term stays in Canada and UK.
Japanese: Advanced knowledge of Japanese in work and day-to-day situations; basic knowledge of written Japanese. Work experience in a Japanese speaking environment. Lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan.

Information Technology Skills:

SAP: Many years of experience (R/3, APO, BW, CRM, ICH) from managing whole SAP R/3 implementation projects (present focus) to installation and configuration including debugging of system functions and ABAP4 programming (past focus).
MS Navision Experience in managing Navision implementation projects.
Business applications: Extensive studies on the ERP system Baan, the SCM solutions of i2 and manugistics and the e-procurement solutions of Commerce One and Ariba. Understanding of the competitive landscape in the area of Supply Chain Collaboration including Inventory Visibility and Contract Manufacturer Coordination.
